Classic northeastern mountain. Though far from being a 4000'er, this peak is not to be trivialized. We'll be taking a more strenuous route - but far more scenic - than the last time.

We will be camping overnight Friday and Saturday at White Ledge Campground, where we will start our hike from on Saturday. Everyone, whether they are staying two or one night(s) or not staying over at all need to pay the registration fee.

- Cost: $15 for members, $20 for everyone else
- Type: Day Hike and overnight
- Distance: ~10.5 miles
- Elevation gain: ~3,500'
- High point: Mount Chocorua (3,480')
- Hiking time: 7+ hours
- Children: kid friendly (no strollers)
- Dogs: this is not a dog-friendly hike
You should have:
- AMC White Mountain Sandwich Range Map (same map for all three NH trips)
- Permission slip for those under 18
- 2018 Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk and Waiver and Release from Liability
- Driving directions to meeting point
- Note: Driving directions are to the Piper Trailhead. The campground is 1.2 miles further north.
